Futurecasting in Forbes
Alan Duffy
The world and the challenges facing us are rapidly changing, and organisations need to be more creative in how they imagine those potential futures, as well as more flexible in how they plan their responses. This need is why, as part of Ad Astra, we created the Futures Catalyst to help our University navigate this changing time by using future casting and strategic foresight (Project 3.1 of AA for those who like to keep track!)
We in the team are excited by its power and potential, but we certainly didn't foresee getting to showcase this initiative and the rich legacy of foresight at Swinburne in Forbes(!) today, available in the link below:
I'm delighted to appear in that article alongside my renowned colleague Evie Kendal but also to highlight the years of leadership in this field by our colleague Bridgette Engeler and the wider activities of the Futures Catalyst co-founders Linus Tan, Katie Bayley, Naja Later, Jessica Williams, Ashlee Hope, Myles Ojabo in a true One Swinburne approach across Schools and Professional staff alike, as revealed in our new site:
