Fellow of the Royal Society of Victoria (RSV) !!
Alan Duffy
It is a real honour to be named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Victoria, and humbling to join such an astonishing group.
Science has always meant two things to me: deep curiosity about the Universe, and a responsibility to make that knowledge matter beyond our own disciplines.
The challenges we face now — from clean energy and climate resilience to advanced manufacturing, critical minerals and fundamental discovery — need collaboration across universities, industry, government and the public.
That is why organisations like the RSV matter. They help create the networks, trust and shared purpose that allow science to contribute fully to public life.
Thank you to the Royal Society of Victoria for this recognition.
