Another amazing electronics paper from my PhD student Shanti Krishnan accepted for publication in the Journal of Instrumentation, focussed on a novel (and very cheap!) way to improve SiPM sensors (shown pictured from Caen). This offers an incredibly cost-effective way to increase their energy resolution (by more fully sharing the signal across the sensor energy range) and also lowering the background noise in these fantastically useful (and used!) silicon single pixel cameras. Amazing stuff Shanti!
