Hosting the Australian Space Summit
Alan Duffy
It was an incredible honour to host the inaugural Australian Space Summit held in Sydney on 24th March, bringing together inspiring industry leaders to share with colleagues nationwide the tools and strategies to break into the domestic and global supply chain. There was an incredible series of panels I was able to Chair in which the audience could engage and hear directly from space experts and industry professionals committed to evolving Australia’s space industry. An exhausting day on everything from Earth Observation and satellite communications (a heated discussion between Optus, Airbus, and Boeing was really enlightening) to solar power from space by Australia’s first astronaut, Dr Paul Scully Power, and much more besides. I can’t wait for next year!
